This is not a political post. It is a post about the devastation to Florida’s economy if Amendment 2 does not pass. Amendment 2 seeks to preserve the 10% cap on annual increases of non-homesteaded properties such as rentals and commercial properties occupied by small businesses. This amendment has bi-partisan support. We face a $700 MILLION tax increase if Amendment 2 fails.
